Board Members 2023- 2024

President -

It's the responsibility of the President to supervise and conduct all activities and operations of the organization, per the recommendations of the board. The president shall be empowered to act, speak for or otherwise represent the organization between meetings. The president is authorized to contact, receive, deposit, disperse, and account for all funds of the organization. The president shall be in attendance at all cadet officers' meetings.

Vice President - Ronda Hanson

The Vice President will assume the roles and responsibilities of any officer not in attendance. The vice-president shall be in attendance at all cadet officers' meetings, if the president is unable to attend.

Secretary - Andi Guest

The Secretary is the custodian of all documents and records of the organization and shall keep the minutes of all meetings on file.

Treasurer - Brittany Kapaun

The Treasurer will keep and maintain an accurate account of all transactions of the organization. The Treasurer is authorized to contract, receive, deposit, disperse, and account for all funds of the organization. Any transactions greater than $250 will be voted on and approved by the board. Two signatures will be required on all checks. Use of debit cards will require text or e-mail notification of at least one other Board member for pre-approval.

Events Chair

The Events Chair shall be responsible for leadership for the entire event planning process. As leader, the chairperson will recruit and train event volunteers as well as keep track of physical assets. The Chair will be responsible for keeping track of all events and keeping a calendar of all events, fundraising and otherwise. In the event that both president and vice president are unable to attend the cadet officers' meeting, the events chair will attend, in their stead.

 

Mission.

The mission of the Loveland Indian Battalion JROTC Boosters is to provide financial support to the Loveland Indian Battalion JROTC through fundraising. In addition, attendance of Thompson School District (TSO) approved volunteers at events to ensure the program is kept at an adequate ratio of cadets to adults.

Membership.

All parents of JROTC Cadets are considered members. Community members that are interested in supporting the Loveland JROTC Program are welcome to join. Membership requires providing contact information to the board.

Committees.

Committees that are subsequently added will be voted on by the board. Minutes shall be kept of each committee meeting and shall be kept on file with the secretary.

 

Elections.

Elections shall be held every year during the June meeting. To be elected to a position will require a vote by the majority of the members present.

Quorums.

A minimum of 3 board members must be in attendance for a vote to occur at a meeting. Votes may also occur via e-mail with at least 3 board members responding.

Meetings.

Meetings will be held at least quarterly on the 1st Monday of the month. All board members will be in attendance at the majority of the meetings throughout the year.
